I’ve been playing with a large format camera, a Sinar. This is a portrait of my wife’s mother, shot on out of date Polaroid Polaplan 55. This is just a quick copy of the Polaroid I made with my iPhone.

I don’t think I have anything to say that this film really doesn’t.
It really sums up the importance of the funding of the arts in this country and what will happen if it is cut completley. I know….. I have had the arguments/heated discussions about ‘would you prefer arts funding or more policemen’… there is no black and white solution….there will be a difficult to achieve but appropriate solution that has to take many things into consideration….I just hope this government will at least put some effort into finding it not just cut cut cut.
Ok so I did have something to add….

Still on my scarf obsession this is the fantastic Lauranne telling you how to combine two scarves…when you cant decide which one to wear! She really does make them look modern.
THE SCARF
I have always had a passion for scarves, and as a print designer I feel they are an easy way to wear a print. This season I have designed a range of scarves and also a range of scarf wraps that have a belt tie, so they act as a type of cardigan wrap. Something sheer and light that can transform a simple outfit or be wraped around your neck in a more casual way.
Click through to see a video from Liberty London, a very charming Lauranne explains how to wear your scarf…..
I think they scarf has been recognized as an essential item and is here to stay…its time to start collecting them,……I have!
